DO YOU NEED A VISA TO ENTER IN SPAIN?
If you want to travel to Spain, the first thing you should know is whether or not, depending on your nationality, you need an entry visa for short stays.
Therefore, if you have decided to come to Spain on vacation, to visit family or a friend, or simply tour Europe, before organizing your trip you should take into account whether it is necessary to apply to the Spanish Consulate in your country of residence for Schengen visa, or short-stay visa.
The short-term visa is granted for a maximum period of 90 days and it does not allow you to carry out lucrative activities in Spain nor does it authorize you to stay in the country for more than those days.
The visa requirement or not varies depending on each country, the agreements that the European Union and the member countries of the Schengen Area may have with certain countries.
If you are a national of any of these countries indicated below, you must apply for the corresponding entry visa at the Consulate of Spain in the country of your residence. This is the list of countries not members of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Schengen Area whose nationals do require a short-term entry visa (for a period of less than 90 days):
